hello darling!
Hey there, friends! I’m Farah Al Jallad and I’m so excited that you’ve come across my blog. For the past few years I’ve been focusing on what I can do to reduce my waste and help the planet as much as possible.
Here’s some background to how I got started on this journey:
When I was 17, I was just scouring youtube when I came across a vegan health page. It really grabbed my interest since I’ve never paid much thought to veganism and wasn’t completely sure what it was.
After watching a few “What I Eat In A Day” videos, I came across a video titled “The Most Important Speech You Will Ever Hear,” and it really was.
My heart was broken when I saw all the cruelty that animals face, it was so upsetting. I went vegan that night and never looked back.
Once I was exposed to veganism, I read about all the reasons why it’s a good thing and why people are fighting for this. The animals are a huge part in this, but there’s so much more, and I had no idea about any of it.
I found out that the planet is dying, and it’s because of what we are doing to it.
The environmental impacts of animal agriculture is huge. And no one knew. But then I did, and it’s so hard to stay silent when you know something so terrible. And you shouldn’t.
I dove deeper in my environmental impact and learned about what I can do to help.
Little did I know transitioning to a vegan diet was just the beginning.
There is SO much more that we can do every day to reduce our waste and our environmental footprint.
As you’ll be able to tell when reading my blog posts, I am very passionate about the environment. My goal is to educate other people on what they can do to live a sustainable and healthy life!
I believe that no matter where or who you are, everyone should have access to information on how to practice sustainability, and I’ll show you how.
I started this blog because I want to share my ideas and be a source of inspiration for those who are looking for ways to incorporate sustainable practices in their everyday life.
If you have a passion for taking care of the environment and learning new ways to reduce your waste, then this blog is for you!
